Kishtwar Encounter: Two army personnel were martyred and two others were injured in an encounter between security forces and terrorists in Chatroo area of Kishtwar district in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday (September 13). The Nagrota-based White Knight Corps said that four army personnel were injured in the firing. Sources said that two soldiers died while being taken to Chatroo hospital.
The martyred soldiers have been identified as Sepoy Arvind Singh and Vipin Kumar. The White Knight Corps has posted on X and expressed deep condolences to the families of the martyred soldiers. According to the officer, based on secret information, the security forces cordoned off the Nadgham area of Chhataru sector and started a search operation. During this, firing started between the security forces and the hidden terrorists. Two soldiers have also been injured in this encounter.
